Asalamualiakum,
I will starting my studies at UCL in sept 2006 inshallah, I am looking for practising sisters to share a large 5 bedroom house in Wembley. Traveling facilties excellent 10 mins walk to either preston road [ met line] or north wembley [ northen line].It takes me 20-30 mins to get to uni. The house is ideal for serious students with a big garden to chill out in.It would be wonderful to share chores and study togther and keep an eye on each other. Any other info required plz feel free to e mail me at: heavenly_blest@hotmail.com

SISTER LOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATION
My name's Afaaf and I'm starting an MSc in UCL this year inshaAllah. I'm looking for Muslim sisters to live with (the no live-in boyfriends, non-smoking and non-drinking type..). I hope to look for places as near to uni as possible. My max budget is £540 per month or cheaper. If your budget is similar and you are also looking for a place in Central London, please let me know at ie_afaaf@hotmail.com

salam al alaikum alia and afaaf,
inshAllah u find people and accomodation, but can i recommend u post ur ads on the ucl isoc page and the ulu isoc page as well if possible, to increase your chances of finding something/someone also, afaaf, hav u tried halls of residence (intercollegiate ones) - they take postgrads as well, if its not too late to apply an feel free to ask any advice on this site bout areas to live in; i can tell u not camden town - is pretty dodgy, an so is area near kings cross a little at night i think and alia, if u still havnt found ppl next term, u could email rums su, or ucl student union an maybe ask them to post ads in their weekly bulletin coz they do tht sometimes hope this helps, and good luck to both of u, maybe see u around next year, wasalam yasmin

Salaam all,
just to add another to your list...
i recieved an email from an old teacher of mine whose sister is coming to study medicine this year at ucl. Shes been given shared accomodation, but obviously is concerned about who she will be sharing with...if there are any Fresher Sisters out there who are in the same situation or think they have a room to rent then post here please so that those who are interested can read up..
