Salaam
Ilhan has contacted me via email, due to technical difficulties with the forums. She said:
-I think you're right, a weekend will be a little busy, so i think we should stick with the date previously agreed on. -With regards to buying tickets online; do you not have to wait in the queue at all? If this is the case, maybe it is worth the extra £4 to buy it in advance. Unless anyone object, I would suggest everyone starts buying their tickets in the next few days. -The poster is made, so we'll get that out to you by email shortly ia. -anyone know how to get there? We should plan a meeting point that is somewhere on the way, and then go together from there iA for those who want to travel with company
Take care ws

Salam Sana,
- I went to Thorpe Park this time last year and there was a queue for the advance ticket office, but it was considerably shorter than the one for paying on the day. But I suppose at the end it's each to their own. -Getting there: I'm looking into that right now. If we all meet up at Waterloo like you said and get a train to Staines, then theres a bus which goes directly to thorpe park near the station. I'm not sure if we have to book our train tickets in advance also or if we can book on the day and get a groupsave thing. Will check up on this now iA.

Salaam, some of my friends went to ThorpePark pretty much after the iBSc exams and from what I gathered from them is that there is a train from somewhere that goes directly to thorpepark...they are all abroad at the moment so its hard to get more details off of them but It's definetly worth looking into if there is a direct train from somewhere ..save you catching a bus perhaps

Salaam,
The train goes from Waterloo to Staines, and from there we get a bus which goes directly to thorpe park. Train tix are £7 for a cheap day return, but for every 4 ppl travelling 2 go free and we can get tix on the day.

Salaam
Just a quick tip for sisters that are going to Thorpe Park if any of you shop at sainsbruys you can exchange £10 worth of nectar points for a ticket.
Secondly note to all the brothers, we need to take a page out of the sisters book they are always having there little adventure days and we do nothing. We should do something before the holidays are over.
