Ok, Here are the basics on using the forums:
Anyone can view the discussion boards.
You need to sign in to reply, though.
To sign up: click on the 'register' button. You will be asked for your preferred name and a valid email address. Note: it will not accept spaces in an ID. Tick the box about keeping your email address private. The board will then send you a password to this email address (which can then also be used to let you know about anything else happening.) This should be sent instantaneously. You can then use your ID and password to sign in. You can change your password and other account details in the 'profile' section, after logging in.
Please note, the quick sign-on options doesn't always work, but clicking the 'login' button does. Also, remember to 'logout' at the end of your session, because the board offers you to stay logged in for about 6 hours...
If you have any problems, please read through the 'Problems?' board first; if your problem isn't there, please post to the board. NOTE: this is the one board where you don't need to be a member to post to. A reply will be posted on the board, so anyone else with the same problem will be able to read it.
General discussion on any topic you wish is on the main board. Please note that the boards are moderated, and inappropriate material will be removed. Anyone repeatedly posting such material may be thrown out.
If you read anything on the board and want to reply, click the reply button (you need to be a member to reply). To reply to a specific part of the passage, use the 'quote' button to reply. Just remember to remove all the bits you don't want.
If you want to talk about something completely new, click the 'new thread' button (again, must be a member).
In general, please read around a problem before posting. Also, lets not repeat stuff too often.
Calender: there is a calender feature on the board (click on the 'calender' button on the top bar). Here we will mark in any events. Click on a date for more info.
